LAUTECH On Fire As Students Clash With School Management Over SUG Elections
It is not an easy view in the environment of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso today as students of the school protest against the management over alleged partiality in the just concluded SUG election.
The section of the candidate that lost the presidential ticket trooped out to protest against the school to have had impact in failing their candidate through the electronic voting system.
The riot escalated when the aggrieved students leader, Emperor Bosun was mishandled and bundled inside the student union building by the security wings of the great institution. The struggle to rescue their Union leader only resulted in capturing more of them and get locked in a room at the same building.
Speaking with one of the students that belongs to the party that lost, he made mention that the school security wing descended so low to have come with some suspected cultists to harass them while doing their rights.
The students however hoping for the release of their Emperor if they want the protest to stop. The school gate has been on fire from burning tyres and the security men has since been taking charge to calm the angry
