Prof. Olawale Albert edits ‘BEYOND RHETORIC’

Professor Olawale Albert has co-edited the book – BEHIND RHETORIC. The book presentation is scheduled to hold by November 30, at the Civic Center,Victoria Island, Lagos. The
Founder/Chairman of Board of Baywood Foundation, Emperor Chris Baywood Ibe is expected to be the Chief Host while Emmanuel Ijewere is the chairman of the occassion.
The keynote speaker for the day is the country Director, Plan International, Abuja, Dr, Hussaini Abdu while the book will be reviewed by Prof. Patricia Donli and Presented by Odein Ajumogobia (SAN).
Prof. Olawale has also written, published, edited and co-edited several books, some of which include Introduction To Third Party Intervention In Community Conflicts, Women And Urban Violence In Kano, Local Approaches To Conflict Transformation, and many others.
Prof. Albert is an accomplished academician, a Professor of African History, Peace and Conflict Studies and Director of the Institute for Peace and Strategic Studies (IPSS) at the University of Ibadan. He is a member of several learned and professional associations. These include the International Society for Folk Narrative Research (Finland), Ethnic Studies Network (Northern Ireland), Nigeria Field Society, and African Association of Political Science. A Fellow and current Board Chairman of the Society for Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP), the RegionalBoard Chairman of the West African Network for Peacebuilding (Accra,
Ghana). He is a consultant to several international development organisations doing peace related works in Africa among others.
